Walter Andino

Founder & President

As founder and president of Vertical Property Management, Walter Andino has taken his 20+ years of experience overseeing major capital projects for over 40 mid and high-rise buildings and put that to work in his own firm. Just prior to forming Vertical Property Management, Mr. Andino was an Executive Director for a high-rise portfolio in the NY/NJ metro area. In this role he was involved in the operational, financial and training aspects of the associations and their managers.

Aside from handling day to day operations, his work has included the structural replacement of parking garage slabs, replacement of cooling towers, boilers, chillers, mechanical and electrical risers, roofs, windows, repairs to facades, balconies and numerous interior renovations. Mr. Andino acted as liaison between engineering, architectural firms, contractors and Boards. He prepared capital budgets, requests for proposals, bid analyses, reviews and negotiated change orders, and made professional recommendations.

Mr. Andino has participated in various educational and leadership programs throughout his years in the industry. He also holds an ARM designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
